Your website is starting to look good Serena well done!
You have collected a lot of information and it is well laid out.
There are two things you need to work on.
Firstly the notes that you have made in class on the first three chapters need to be on your site, as does the synopsis of the first ten chapters. Do not fall behind you will find it difficult to catch up.
Secondly we have learnt many new literary terms that now need to be incorporated into your lexis page. Again, don’t fall behind.
As to your essay, This is a good first try. You obviously understand the novel, but what we now need to do is discuss your opinion of the text.
So rather than retelling the narrative you need to explain how the novel makes you feel. Why do you empathise with Holden?
Also remember you need to divide your writing into paragraphs, each new paragraph contains a new idea. Good start.
